Gunnerside Methodist Chapel

The church is a four square pitched roof stone structure with a huge graveyard containing 200+ graves. A recent graveyard survey revealed that the earliest burial date at Gunnerside Chapel was 1816.

Parking: is available in Gunnerside village adjacent to Gunnerside Village Hall, but please park with consideration for local residents. Spaces are limited and it's advisable to arrive at least half an hour early to allow sufficient time for parking.

Accessibility: the chapel is fully wheelchair accessible on the ground floor. Disabled audience members will need to be dropped off right outside the venue with vehicles parked elsewhere. Please contact our office in advance on 01748 880019 so we can assist you. Public accessible toilets are situated across the bridge, around 200 metres away (small fee required).
