Woodland, pasture, riverside tracks and idyllic views
Venue: Round Howe Car Park, Richmond
A moderate 5-mile walk led by Chris Meek and members of the Yoredale Natural History Society, with tracks, woodland and pasture. The walk includes Whitcliffe Woods and Low Applegarth, and will return along the River Swale. No dogs please. Adult £10; Under £3 Places are limited so please book in advance. If a walk is sold out, you can call our office to add your name to the waiting list. Please let us know as early as possible if you are not going to use your walk ticket; we can’t offer refunds but someone else may be able to take your place. You’ll need sturdy boots, waterproofs and a hat. For the longer walks bring lunch and water. Coins for ticket machines may be needed. Published durations are approximate.
