A visit to the Priory and a path through pleasant fields
Venue: Meet on Reeth Green
A 6-mile walk led by Clive Herdman which will include a visit to Marrick Priory at 11:15 for light refreshments and a talk about their work providing outdoor adventure activities within a 12th-century setting. The walk returns to Reeth via High Fremington and fields in Arkengarthdale. Easy terrain on paths and through fields. No dogs please. Adult £10; Under 25 £3
Places are limited so please book in advance. If a walk is sold out, you can call our office to add your name to the waiting list. Please let us know as early as possible if you are not going to use your walk ticket; we can’t offer refunds but someone else may be able to take your place. You’ll need sturdy boots, waterproofs and a hat. For the longer walks bring lunch and water. Coins for ticket machines may be needed. Published durations are approximate.
