5 miles exploring the valley’s fascinating heritage
Venue: Meet at Marske Bridge
A 5-mile walk in the Marske valley led by resident expert Stephen Clarke, exploring its history as a traditional estate, its links with three archbishops, and the changes of the last century. The walk will be on footpaths, tracks and minor roads. Parking is limited so please car-share if you can. Dogs on leads are welcome. Adult £10; Under 25 £3

Please let us know as early as possible if you are not going to use your walk ticket; we can’t offer refunds but someone else may be able to take your place. You’ll need sturdy boots, waterproofs and a hat. For the longer walks bring lunch and water. Coins for ticket machines may be needed. Published durations are approximate.
