Open moor, woodland and the secluded valley of Helwith
Venue: Meet at Marske Bridge
A 6-mile circular walk led by Maria Laybourn, with some steep terrain across open moorland and through woodland. Refreshments will be available at the tea garden in the secluded valley of Helwith. Please car-share if possible as parking is limited. Dogs on leads are welcome. Adult £10; Under 25 £3
Places are limited so please book in advance. If a walk is sold out, you can call our office to add your name to the waiting list. Please let us know as early as possible if you are not going to use your walk ticket; we can’t offer refunds but someone else may be able to take your place. You’ll need sturdy boots, waterproofs and a hat. For the longer walks bring lunch and water. Coins for ticket machines may be needed. Published durations are approximate.
